Darjeeling. City of tea. I expected rural town with lush gardens of tea all around, but instead got bustling city with no visible tea bushes around. Still - I enjoyed it a lot and Darjeeling is now among my favourite places in India.

Room I stayed in, was about 50-100m from Darjeeling train station. Which only has narrow tracks and toy trains. I can't describe feelings in the mornings when you hear toy train's whistling nearby and view from your window shows magnificent, snowy mountain tops.

Zoo

While there, I visited local zoo, which had some animals - not many, but still worth it (Rs 100 + 10 for the camera). Some of them:
