It's a good family movie;
Plenty of humor;
A great story;
Wonderful scenery.
It really shows what's special about our country even though it's a film about death.

Just wow. The Act of Killing is a very uniquely shot documentary about mass-killings in Indonesia. And uniquely is the key word here - you will have to watch it for yourself as trailer doesn't really show true weirdness of this movie. Some people in forums expressed dissapointment because directors didn't portray bad guys as 100% evil, but also showed they weird/funny/demented side.

I can't completely understand what those executioners expected this movie to be, but one thing is clear: they wanted for this movie to get popular as they (probably reasonably) feel they can get away with what they've done.
