One more todo item completed - watch bollywood movie here in India. And while it would be more "proper" to see it in bollywood's homecity Mumbai, opportunity struck and we took it while we where in Hassan.
Movie was in Kannada (language) without subtitles, but that didn't matter much. Everything was more or less understandable from acting, music and soundeffects. Fight scenes were ridiculously epic (to the point of funny), dance scenes - too "modern" (aka, lots of skin).
As one spectator informed us before start, main role was played by
the most hated actor in India - Darshan
During fight and sexy dance scenes people whistled and clapped hands, during funny scenes everyone was laughing (we are more reserved showing emotions in cinema), someone was snoring and occasional baby cry was heard. There was 10 min intermission during which we bought some snacks. Popcorn, soft drinks and chai/coffee also can be bought. Time flew by very quickly.
This was something I wanted to do on my first visit in India, but somehow didn't. Now, after spending 3 hours and 50 rupees I finally fulfilled my wish .
